- Front side windows: at least 28% visible light through glass plus film, and no more than 25% reflectance.
- Windows behind the driver: at least 15% light (6% on multipurpose passenger vehicles), reflectance capped at 35%.
- If the rear glass is dark enough to block the view, the vehicle needs outside mirrors on both sides.
- Laws change. We meter the job. A medical exemption is a separate paper trail if you need darker fronts.
